Conditions I Support
Many of the people I work with come to me feeling dismissed, overwhelmed, or confused by symptoms that don’t fit neatly into a single diagnosis. Mental health and women’s health concerns are often complex and interconnected, influenced by hormones, stress physiology, inflammation, nutrient status, and life context.
My role is to help you make sense of what’s happening in your body and mind, identify contributing factors, and create a thoughtful, individualized plan that supports long‑term wellbeing.
Below are some of the most common concerns I support in clinical practice. Each page goes into more detail about how I approach that condition and whether naturopathic care may be a good fit for you.
Anxiety And Panic Attacks
Persistent anxiety, panic attacks, or a constant sense of being “on edge” can have many contributing factors beyond mindset alone. These may include stress hormones, blood sugar regulation, nutrient deficiencies, gut health, sleep disruption, and life circumstances.
Depression Support
Low mood, loss of motivation, emotional numbness, or burnout are not always caused by a single imbalance. In practice, depression often overlaps with chronic stress, inflammation, hormonal changes, thyroid function, and nutritional status.
PMS And PMDD
Severe premenstrual symptoms are common, but they are not something you simply have to tolerate. PMS and PMDD can involve hormone sensitivity, inflammation, nutrient needs, and nervous system stress.
Irregular Periods, PCOS, and Cycle Concerns
Irregular cycles, missed periods, or a diagnosis of PCOS can affect both physical and emotional health. These concerns often involve ovulatory patterns, insulin regulation, stress physiology, and hormonal signaling.
Hypothyroidism and Thyroid Health
Thyroid concerns can show up as fatigue, low mood, brain fog, weight changes, cold intolerance, or menstrual changes. A naturopathic approach looks at thyroid function in the context of the whole body.
Adult and Hormonal Acne
Acne is not only a skin concern. It can reflect hormonal patterns, inflammation, gut health, stress, and metabolic factors. Adult and hormonally‑driven acne often requires a comprehensive approach that goes beyond topical treatments alone.
Migraines
Migraines are a neurological condition with many possible triggers, including hormonal shifts, blood sugar changes, nutrient status, sleep patterns, and stress. Understanding your personal pattern is key.
Perimenopause
The years leading up to menopause can bring changes in mood, sleep, cycles, energy, and stress tolerance. Perimenopause is a transition, not a diagnosis, and support during this phase can make a significant difference.
Digestive Issues (IBS, Reflux, and Gut Concerns)
Digestive symptoms such as bloating, abdominal pain, reflux, irregular bowel habits, or food sensitivities are often influenced by more than digestion alone. In practice, gut symptoms frequently overlap with stress, nervous system regulation, inflammation, hormone fluctuations, and past infections or medication use.
A naturopathic approach focuses on understanding patterns, triggers, and underlying contributors rather than simply suppressing symptoms.
Not sure where to start?
If you’re experiencing symptoms that don’t fit neatly into one category, you’re not alone. Many people relate to more than one of the concerns listed above.
